The Facilities and Fleet Division provides a safe and functional physical working environment for the administration of County Government by providing professional and cost effective Maintenance, Custodial, Project Management, and Architectural Services support to County Departments. We strive to provide these services in a courteous, professional, and accountable manner, always mindful of the public trust endowed upon us for the management, development, and maintenance of County Facilities. The maintenance staff provides support in many areas including building renovations, grounds maintenance, painting, roof repairs, electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, HVAC systems, energy management, and security systems. Any departmental moves within the County are coordinated through the Buildings & Grounds Division.
The individuals in the Building Maintenance team cover a combined total building area of 700,000 square feet while bringing talents in trades such as heating and air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, locksmithing and painting.
The Facilities and Fleet Division promotes a safe, healthy environment for County employees and visitors. It provides a full range of maintenance and custodial services for County owned buildings. Services are provided through scheduled maintenance programs and reimbursable projects.
