Adolescent Treatment Programs

New Beginnings Class

This campus meets the educational standards, while also offering individualized programs for each Juvenile Probation referred student. Services include individual counseling, group therapy, and alcohol and other drug treatment.

The program is a collaboration between the Probation Department, Mendocino County Office of Education (MCOE) and the Mendocino County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA).

New Beginnings is a treatment program for students with significant behavioral, psychological and/or drug related problems that resulted in court interventions.

Other Intervention Programs for Youth

Substance Use Disorders Treatment (SUDT) facilitates several  school-based prevention, intervention and counseling programs that enhances youths' internal strengths and resiliency while addressing patterns of substance abuse.

Current students are provided services at Ukiah High School, South Valley High School, River Community School, Pomolita, Eagle Peak, and West Hills School, in addition to The Arbor on Main, and street-based intervention services in collaboration with Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (Mental Health).

Prevention and education groups, individual and group counseling, and a variety of clean and sober health activities, along with community service projects are among the offerings of these services.
